Glarokavos beach

Glarokavos is one of the most attractive and popular partly organized beaches near Pefkochori village, with gentle sand, some fine gravel and shallow waters. There is an amazing lagoon at the end of the shore which was and still is used as a core for small boats. At this location, the beach is not organized but it’s ideal for chilling out! 

Posidi beach

Egeopelagitika beach is beyond doubt the most special one in Kassandra and it’ s also awarded a Blue Flag every year. This part of Possidi has an astonishing landscape, transparent turquoise water, bright sand almost white, make the whole atmosphere as a reminiscent of exotic beaches on distant islands. It’s partly organized while disabled access is available. There are lifeguard supervision, some beach bars and a water sport centre as well. Last but not least, the horizon stretches into the distance offering a view of Mount Olympus.The sunset from this spot is just breathtaking!

Afitos

Athitos or Afitos is one of the most picturesque villages in Halkidiki and is very different to anything else around it. The village has its own architectural style, with old stone-built houses, coming straight from previous centuries. You can stroll down the cobblestone alleys, smelling the flowers that are everywhere and relax at one of the traditional taverns. The village overlooks the peninsula of Sithonia and offers a fantastic view to the Toroneos Gulf.

Petralona cave

The caves of Petralona lie about 70 km from our hotel and are a very popular half-day excursion. When you enter the caves of Petralona, it’s like embarking on a voyage to the beginning of time with fascinating stalactites and stalagmites including the remains of what is thought to be the oldest in Europe – 700,000 years old. The caves are also considered among the most important monuments of human prehistory with finds including the fossilised cranium of a prehistoric man.

Thermal spa of Agia Paraskevi

Agia Paraskevi is a village in the southern part of Kassandra, which is known for the Thermal Baths of Agia Paraskevi. The water of the baths is coming out of the depth of the earth and it has healing properties. Especially, the water of the baths which contains sulfur helps with muscle diseases, joints, bones and other dermatological and gynecological diseases. The facilities contain swimming pools, saunas, hammam and hydro-massage. Everyone can enjoy these relaxing facilities and rejuvenate!
